About BRMDIA
“一带一路”医疗器械创新与应用联盟是在“一带一路”的伟大战略感召下，以实现全球医疗器械资源共享、优势互补、互惠互利、相互促进、创新应用、整体提升为目的。联盟由上海理工大学发起，联合中国及其它国家，特别是一带一路沿线国家的医疗器械有关机构，自愿组成的、非营利性的医疗器械民间社团。联盟不追求任何政治目的，联盟的愿景是成为推动一带一路沿线国家医疗器械创新应用发展、推动全球医疗卫生健康发展的积极力量。
“一带一路”医疗器械创新与应用联盟，由上海理工大学联合18个国家的55家机构发起成立。联盟第一批成员单位来自新加坡、以色列、瑞典、加拿大、意大利、吉尔吉斯斯坦、美国、罗马尼亚、荷兰、巴基斯坦、塞尔维亚、斯洛文尼亚、韩国、马来西亚、瑞士、巴西、葡萄牙和中国等18个国家，包括大学、行业协会、医疗器械生产企业、大型经销商、科技园区、第三方医疗类服务机构、律师事务所等, 各成员将通过优势互补、优势相长，打造一个有影响力的医疗器械的国际创新平台。
The "Belt and Road Medical Device Innovation and Application Alliance (BRMDIA)" is inspired by the great strategy of the “One Belt and One Road Initiative” and jointly initiated and established by medical device education institutions, research institutions, companies and enterprises, industry associations, enterprises from China and the countries along the Belt and Road and other countries and regions. The BRMDIA is a non-profit organization of medical device institutions, founded on the voluntary base by the medical device institutions in China and other countries, especially the institutions along the Belt and Road, for the purpose of sharing the global resources of health care, complementing each other's advantages, promoting mutual benefits and enhancing overall integration. The BRMDIA will not pursue any political purpose. The mission of it is to push forward the quality of the medical device for the nations along the Belt and Road and give an impetus to the medical device innovation and application along the countries of Belt and Road and global healthcare in an active way.
The "Belt and Road" Medical Device Innovation and Application Alliance is established by the joint efforts of 55 institutions from 18 countries jointly. 55 institutions includes universities, industry associations, medical device manufacturers, large distributors, science and technology parks, third-party medical service institutions, law firms, etc., committed to build up an international innovation platform for medical devices through complementary or mutually beneficial advantages.
联盟宗旨
Purpose of the BRMDIA
本着自愿、平等、合作、发展的原则，在联盟成员之间建立起长期的互 惠、互利的合作关系，充分共享联盟成员的资源、知识、和经验，以跨学科 的方式，开展医疗器械的人才培养（包括短期培养和长期培养）、学科建设， 医疗器械的科技创新、应用推广和社会服务。同时鼓励联盟成员之间建立长 期的伙伴关系，提升各联盟成员的教育、科研和创新以及社会服务的质量与 声誉，实现联盟的可持续发展。通过联盟的一系列活动，推动联盟成员积极 合作、探索共同解决全球医疗器械发展出现的新问题，特别是针对新冠病毒 和其它流行疾病的先进的医疗器械，满足日益变化的社会的新需求。
The BRMDIA is founded by the principles of voluntariness, equality, cooperation and development to establish the long-term, mutually beneficial and cooperative relations among the allied member institutions and fully share the resources, knowledge and experience, carry out cultivation of global medical professionals in an interdisciplinary manner (including short-term and long-term training), promote development of medical discipline, science innovation and social services. At the same time, the BRMDIA encourages to set up long-term partnership among the member institutions to enhance the quality and reputation of education, training, scientific research and social services of all the members and realize the sustainable development of the Alliance, and through a series of activities, facilitates cooperation and exploration of member institutions to address the new demands of advanced medical device for the COVID – 19 pandemic and other epidemic diseases, so as to meet the new needs of the changing society.
